Rainbow City Jazz Band – Big Band – Live Music brought to you by Third Place Commons!

Rainbow City Jazz Band (formerly Purple Passion Swing Band) is Seattle’s premier (only!) LGBTQIA+ swing band! Our 18-piece big band plays a wide range of swing, jazz standards, pop and Latin music to get audiences moving. We are passionate about making music together and making a difference.

Please Note: While masking is no longer required in public spaces, dancing is a high exertion activity that causes heavy breathing and in close proximity to others. In addition, asymptomatic spread of COVID is common, especially among vaccinated individuals. Other activities like changing partners increase potential exposure further.

Many in our community are in vulnerable populations, susceptible to severe disease if infected. Therefore, masks remain welcome in our space, both for your protection and for the protection of others.
