The mission of Third Place Commons is to foster and enrich real community in real space. That means the number one best way to get involved is to come to an event at Third Place Commons or the Lake Forest Park Farmers Market, which is our flagship program.
Third Place Commons hosts hundreds of free events with dozens of community partners throughout each year. Some of these include:
- Live music with an open dance floor every Friday and Saturday night
- Weekly foreign language conversation groups (German, French, and Spanish)
- Book and movie clubs
- Computer Q&As
- Solo musicians and singer/songwriter performances
- Small theatrical productions
- Local music and dance studio recitals
- Local school performances
